Cool that will be really cool to look at, we may be close to there this summer because if we go to Maine we will start in New Jersey and will stay there for a while.

Big Year blogs

In addition to my Junior Big Year - there are other people out there this year doing big years, too so take a moment and also check out their blogs!

Matt Stenger is doing a Big Year this year and his blog is www.716birds.com

John Vanderpoel is also doing a big year this year and his blog is www.bigyear2011.com

Dave Brown also is doing a big year, but in Newfoundland only. It's still pretty incredible and his blog is www.birdingnewfoundland.blogspot.com

4 people did big years last year, Bob Ake, John Spahr, Chris Hitt, and Russell Cannings.

Bob Ake and John Spahr, both people from my state Virginia did the big year together so only one of them blogged, and it was Bob. His blog is www.bobsbirds.blogspot.com

Chirs Hitt did a big year in the only Lower 48 States last year, and got an amazing 704 species, a new record for that area. He's continued his blog even though his big year is done and the blog can be found at www.slowbirding.blogspot.com

Russell Cannings did a big year in British Columbia last year. His blog is www.bcbigyear.blogspot.com
